2.2 carat Ethiopian opal adjustable ring. Setting is stamped 925. Stone is clear with rainbow confetti, the black background brings out the flash and color in the stone. Stone size is approx. 9.9mm x 7.9mm. Pictures taken under a $5 LED light and my iPhone. Reminder, I'm not a jeweler and these rings were originally made for just me. I prefer the stones natural looking with possible matrix, inclusions or some polishing scratches. These are all created from rough rocks that I grind and polish into cabs. Ethiopian opals are hydrophane, meaning they will absorb water. It’s recommended to take these off when showering, washing hands, etc.
