1.8 carat Ethiopian opal adjustable ring. Setting is 925 sterling silver. Stone size is approx. 9.4mm x 7.8mm. Pictures taken under a $5 LED light and my iPhone. Reminder, I'm not a jeweler and these rings were originally made for just me. I prefer the stones natural looking with possible matrix, inclusions or some polishing scratches. These are all created from rough rocks that I grind and polish into cabs. Ethiopian opals are hydrophane, meaning they will absorb water. It’s recommended to take these off when showering, washing hands, etc.
